On Wednesday a boat trip will be held on the Lago Maggiore, where we will visit (hopefully) all three islands (Isola Bella, Isola Madre and Isola Superiore). The three islands are completely different from each other: Isola Bella is known for its famous Palazzo Borromeo and the Italian-style baroque garden, while Isola Madre is known for its amazing botanical garden. Finally, Isola Superiore (also called Fishermen’s island) is the only one which has a small village where people even nowadays live!
